Halle – economic hub and home to major companies

Halle an der Saale, together with the neighbouring city of Leipzig, is one of the most important economic hubs in Saxony-Anhalt. Halle, as a transport hub, is incorporated into the Halle-Leipzig S-Bahn suburban train network. Companies such as the Halloren Chocolate Factory, Coca Cola and Dell Halle are based in the region. The Haendel Houseis a music museum. It was first mentioned in 1558 and contains two permanent exhibitions: "Haendel, the European" and "Historical Musical Instruments".
